If you want a horse that your daughter can go to a barrel race or pole bend with, jump a hunter course, take your son to a roping event, granny on the trail, and then work cows all day long on Lone Star Rhea Rose is your girl! She’s a been there done that type. Nothing phases her. Rhea is level headed, traffic safe, flag safe, trail safe, water safe, won’t buck your kid off, is the same horse if you work her 7 days a week or once in a blue moon. Rhea has ran barrels at the breeders challenge finals, ran poles at the patriot where she ran a low 21 with her previous jockey, high school rodeos, Bogata rodeo, and ran barrels and poles in California, texas, Oklahoma, Nevada, Georgia, Florida, and more. Rhea runs left or right, one or two handed, single or split reins on barrels. Big pattern or smaller pattern deep ground or shallow, rain or shine this griddy mare runs. Rhea is not a bottom of the herd but not a lead mare either- just that perfect mix of standing up for herself but not getting into fights. You can leave her turned out in the pasture with other horses or in a stall by herself and she won’t care. You can haul her anywhere, anytime, any distance, in anything and she’ll do it. Rhea stands tied for hours with no pawing, excessive neighing, sweating, or anything else as well as stands for the Ferrier (my Ferrier says she is one of the most well behaved horses he trims as well as has great feet with no concerns). You can short her or run her barefoot (currently barefoot). She isn’t spooky or worried about new environments or horses. Runs barrels or poles on lasix. Up to date on ferrier and and deworming.
