He is gentle on the ground and good to trim, saddle, bridle, and trailer. Soup is an excellent rock pounder type for a cowboy, and is absolutely ready to saddle up and go to work. He is equipped with great hard feet, nice wither, fast walk, huge long trot, decent lope, and is mature bodied with no serious injuries or limitations. Soup is really friendly, but can be a little worried about people at first. Soup is not a bronc, but he would still best fit an experienced rider. I’ve had him all over town and ponied a few other horses off of him, and he’s done great. He’s not overly spooky and has done an excellent job dealing with the vehicles and other obstacles in town and down the trail. He’s just begun to learn about the rope. This guy is really starting to get fun under saddle! Bred by Leroy Hauerland, Soup is by Gumbo Gin Cake and out of a Roanys Tomcat mare. This is the first horse I’ve ridden from this program, but I’ve had a lot of super nice horses with High Rolling Roany and Oswald in their pedigrees. Soup will sell freeze branded Lazy K M Over Bar on his left shoulder. He is really friendly in the pen and good to catch, has been trimmed once, trailers decently, and is up to date on worming.
