Kuri Spice

About this horse

$300 USD Looking for a good home for Kuri Spice, she is a very well trained and behaved Warmblood, Draft cross with Thoroughbred. She is 26 years old and healthy. For about 10 years prior to my ownership, Kuri was a lesson horse for hunter/jumper students. She is up to date on shots and worming, vet check, farrier check and trimming. 17 hands and a big girl. Kuri would be best suited with an intermediate rider, and for occasional trail or arena riding. At her age she is not suited for daily riding or riding for long periods of time. Kuri is fine barefoot, but if riding on gravel or paved roads she will need front boots or shoes. Kuri does have some arthritis in rear joints, and it will show up if ridden too much, otherwise never bothers her. Currently Kuri is ridden approximately once to twice per month, for about an hour at a time. She does well tied, great with the trailer, good ground manners, gentle, and knows personal space. She would do best in a pasture setting with a separate stall for morning and evening feeding. She does ok with other horses but does show she wants to be alpha. A good and loving home is a must.
