Her sire, KT HotTimein Cowtown, “Tank,” is a fancy son of KR Gun Powder and a grandson of Colonels Smoking Gun and Cow Cuttin Colonel, bringing together elite reining and cow horse genetics. KR Gun Powder stands at Heritage Ranch Stallion Station and is by Colonels Smoking Gun and out of A Bueno Poco Dunit. In limited showing, Gun Powder captured the 2016 APHA Senior Reining World Championship and accumulated nearly $13,000 in NRHA earnings in only nine shows. Tank’s dam, KT Cow Cuttin Hottie, is by Cow Cuttin Colonel and out of KT Copper Comet. Cow Cuttin Colonel has been a major force in the cow horse industry with numerous accomplishments including NRCHA Superior Cow Horse, AQHA Open and Amateur Performance ROM, 2008 Paul Dice Memorial Non Pro Bridle Champion, 2007 WSQHA Amateur High Point Working Horse Champion, and multiple NRCHA and reining futurity and derby finals and championships.
