Moose is one of two colts we purchased in March 2024 after I lost my heart horse. Over the past couple of years, I’ve realized my heart just isn’t in this chapter anymore, and I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from horse ownership. With that, Moose is available to the right home. Moose is a coming 3-year-old buckskin gelding. He is currently unbroke, as I prefer to wait until they’re four before putting weight on them, allowing them time to grow and mature properly. He has: • Basic ground manners • Leads and ties • Stands well for the farrier and vet • Been hosed off without issue • Worn a saddle and been led around quietly • Had me lean across and lightly sit bareback — unsure at first, but no overreaction As a youngster, he was desensitized to tarps, noisy sleds, and general groundwork. We even entered a couple of virtual in-hand shows in early 2025 where he earned a few ribbons. Since then, he’s mostly just been allowed to grow up and be a horse. On 1/10/26, I pulled him out for fresh photos and video after quite a bit of downtime and was pleasantly surprised at how well he handled everything. He’s matured nicely — both mentally and physically. Moose is smart, agile, and very athletic. He’s an easy keeper and is going to mature into a big, stout Quarter Horse with the right program. Frankly Rosie's dam, A Tuff Edition, is a Tuff Continental and Mr Breeze Bar bred mare. Frankly Majestic is a Okie Leo grandson. Rosie is a really sweet mare that everyone loves. She is claimed by 5 year old Scarlett, who is no longer 5. She was born palomino so she has the crème gene as well as a grey. With Rosie's coloring genetics she has had some very colorful foals. Her foals are normally very sweet like her and easy to train.
