Temperament & Management
The Old Soul
Measured, forgiving, and built for teaching. This horse has processed enough chaos to stop being bothered by most of it. Won't set the ring on fire, but won't let you fall on your face either. Gives back exactly what you put in - with a little grace on top.
About this horse
Trail-focused and gaited, this 7-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter gelding is described as a beginner-suitable mount with established exposure beyond the arena. He is said to handle steep ditches, water, and downed trees willingly, and has been ridden in town and around the park. The listing emphasizes a notably smooth natural gait and a good canter, along with traffic tolerance and acceptance of e-bikes, UTVs, dogs, and other animals. He also reportedly stands for the vet and farrier and loads and backs off the trailer, suggesting practical handling and trail-mile reliability.
