Temperament & Management
The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Barrel prospect with additional ranch, trail, and western dressage exposure, this 5-year-old APHA Paint mare has 4 months of professional training and is already on the barrel pattern, though not yet finished. The listing describes her as a push-style ride that is showing consistency and may suit an intermediate rider or above, especially one looking for a young performance horse with more development ahead. She is said to haul, stall, and tie easily, settle well around other horses, and greet people at the gate. Notable disclosures include deafness and mild cold-backed behavior after extended time off, with the seller acknowledging she may give a small buck or hop in those situations.
