Tape weight estimates approximately 1200 lbs. She is a stout girl. Journey is a sweet, friendly and willing mare to work with. Easy to be around, great to catch, and a joy to ride. Good for the farrier. UTD on coggins and health. Walk/jog/lopes with ease, great body control - hind quarters, forequarters, ribcage. Simple lead change, side pass, open/close gates, swing a rope, drag a log, carry a flag. We believe this mare would excel in any direction you would like and she is certainly flashy enough to go to the show pen. She has nearly 100 miles riding outside and on the mountain this past summer and has been used to push cattle, riding alone or with a group, front of the line or back of the pack, she is happy to go. She has continued her training throughout the winter and is a solid ride. Rides in a bridle one handed. Journey is amateur friendly and gets along well with youth that have some experience just because she is a big mover.
