The Forward Ride

Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.

About this horse

Private (call for price) Disciplines: Hunter, Jumper, Equitation, Eventing, Dressage, Ponies Baloon is an exceptional mare with a terrific attitude always ready to perform. Her breeding says it all: Sire: Balou Du Rouet, gold medalist in the 2004 Athena Olympic games and three-time World Cup champion. Grandfather Baloubet Du Rouet, ridden by Olympic jumper rider, Rodrigo Pessoa. Two Gold medals; World cup finals x 2 All of her pedigree is available online. Baloon is strong and sound. She can be lead with a thread. I had ridden her for a couple years as a hunter since she has such lovely movements but cannot compete successfully as a hunter against our current A show hunters who are dead quiet. As of 2025 she is back in the jumper ring and doing well.
