About this horse

$5,500 USD FIRM Jax has everything to give! His Parelli education is serving him well. Yes, part of his brain puts him right up there with us humans, but he mentally craves the next lesson in school, whether it's riding double, ponying another horse on the mountain, checking out the smell of the plastic bag that's being waved in front of his face, or side passing his way down the arena. He's had a few of our 12 yr old students ride him, practicing his simple lead changes, and allowing him to lower his head and find that sweet spot of comfort at the canter. He aims for self carriage but effortlessly collects when we get on him to practice dressage tests. He's very proficient on each lead, does not favor one above the other. Jax would make an incredible Dressage partner because of his "Canter in Place" ability but he also likes the trails, not being trailer sour, and moving out, but really pacing himself. He's just ready for adventure and ready to be used as often as a human is available to interact with. We've had him in training for two months and he's been on many field trips. He is definitely Scottsdale Quality, as we've been there the last two years. His tail is always showing off, even when he is calm.
