$6,000 USD Disciplines: Barrel Racing, Barrels-Poles-Gymkhana, Beginner-Safe, Breakaway Roping, Calf Roping, Family-Safe, Kid-Friendly, Ranch Sorting, Ranch Work, Reining I am looking to buy a horse for my younger sister to learn on and for me to ride. If you have a horse that you feel would fit us, please let me know. Redding, CA area preferred but will travel a bit (probably no more than 2-4hrs) Must be: •Mare •7-15 years old •14hh+ •Registered of a sort (AQHA/APHA/etc) *Will consider grade mares •BROKE- must w/t/l and understand leg ques •Trailer well •Good for farrier •Little to no spook •Good in new environments •Exposure to cows is a plus (especially if they enjoy them) Low to mid X,xxx budget We could possibly more for the perfect horse. I am buying this horse with money I have earned raising pigs through 4h, so I don't have the biggest budget My sister will always have supervision when riding until she is more experienced. If I can use the horse for different events (gymkhana, roping, ranch sorting, etc) that's a huge plus, especially because that's most likely what she will be doing as she progresses and I would love this horse to do that with her.
