About this horse

$10,000 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: Broodmare, English Pleasure, Longe Line, Ranch Riding-Ranch Pleasure, Trail Riding, Western Pleasure, Western Riding I have owned this mare since the day she was born. Bred for western pleasure, so she’s got legs if you’re into that. No injuries, no lameness, no scary vet visits. Only mare-ish around her food, and that depends on who is in a stall next to her. Very level headed, wants to please, usually interested in new things versus being scared of them. Would prefer to jump over a puddle instead of walking through it. Good for baths. I never desensitized her to clippers on her face/ears, so she’s not a fan but she can be taught. She’s fine to clip anywhere else. Great for vet, great for farrier, easy keeper, easy to worm. She’s been on trail rides, participated in cow sortings, been roped off of for fun (not with a steer), ridden everywhere bareback, been to shows, been to barrel races. Not much phases her. She’s been in a polebarn stall her entire life. She doesn’t love being in an enclosed stall, never been on pasture. I have front shoes on her because I want them, not because she needs them. She’d be a great kids horse with someone overseeing horse/rider. Not malicious, very respectful. Stands tied patiently. Brushes, saddles, bridles easily. Cross tie or tie rail. Lopes both directions, moves off leg, rides in snaffle or shank, neck reins, stops, backs, moves shoulders/hips, trots, jogs. Never once bucked or taken off. Teeth and vaccinations UTD. She does have a skin sensitivity to fly bites, so I have her on a medication that you administer via injection once a month that makes her body react 90% less to the fly bites. This is an allergy medication she could be on the rest of her life if you choose to keep it up- it’s about 500$ a year. Or you can take her off of it and just fly sheet/fly boot/fly mask the heck out of her. That didn’t work for me so I am doing this, but not a life or death medication. In no rush to sell. I will only sell to a good home. Vet check at buyer’s expense. Up to date on shots. Price is not firm, it’s more important that she goes to a good home.
