Temperament & Management
The All-Rounder
Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.
About this horse
$1,500 USD FIRM Holster is a chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. He is 32”. We have lots of photos we can send if you share your email. He is a cute cookie monster and not broke to ride or drive. He is trained to be charming and loves attention. He needs a dry lot. Cannot be stabled with a horse because he will eat too much and founder. He is not registered. The folks could not find his paperwork. Holster can be a stinker now and then with feet so he needs horse savvy home with his new people. Not bad but needs someone who knows horses and will tie firmly to get feet trimmed. (Our farrier knows him and she does travel from Deer Park.) The last few times we trimmed him, Holster stood sweetly because he learned we will make him stand for his trims so he doesn’t push us any longer. He loads and hauls easily, worm easily, ties, stands, likes attention and hauls easily. He is a sweet boy! He really enjoys being brushed and easily caught with a cookie in hand. Holster was Reserve Grand Champion Mini A at the 2025 Spokane fair. Not bad with his first horse show and four days being pet by the public. He will be adopted with an adoption contract stating if home cannot keep he will be returned. He cannot be resold later. Holster will be placed in a home that knows minis and their needs and has an existing mini in the home so he has a buddy his size. Or you can get his buddy Berkley from us too. Message us details about your situation and use for this cute gelding.
