About this horse

At Auction – Sale Date: Apr 05, 2026 Disciplines: All-Around Show, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, Broodmare, Calf Roping, Champion Pedigree, Competitive Trail Riding, Cowhorse, Cutting, Performance Video: [contact info removed] High Colonel Cat, aka “Ginger” is a 2023 14.2hh AQHA Chestnut Mare. If you are looking for good breeding and talent, this mare is it! She's quick on her feet, athletic, smart, and easy to work with. She's out of Hes My Kinda Cat a son of Highbrow cat, and has other greats on her papers, such as Doc O’Lena, Master Colonel, and more. She could really go any direction and could make an excellent ranch rider, reiner, cow horse, rope, barrel, or ranch horse. She W/J/L both directions with nice extensions, backs, sidepasses, two tracks, gives in the face, and has been started on spins, stops, and turnarounds. She's been used in and out of the arena and hauled out to different places. Will cross creeks, rivers, logs, and bridges. Ginger has been used out in the fields and does great moving the cows and other livestock around. We have started tossing a rope off her, as well as dragging cattle. She stands tied, cross-tied, bathes, clips, trailers (loads and backs out), and stands for the farrier. Sells Guaranteed Sound, and is UTD on vaccines/deworming. Sells April 5th @Enumclaw Horse Sale. You can bid online or in person, and shipping assistance is available!
