Temperament & Management
The Competitor
Athletic, forward, and mentally steady enough to stay useful under pressure. Has the engine to move up and the brain to stay there - doesn't need babysitting in warm-up or convincing at the gate. Suited to riders who want to climb levels, not just maintain them.
About this horse
Trail-focused and ranch-use capable, this 19-year-old AQHA Quarter Horse mare is described as an experienced mount with a long background in mounted patrol, parades, horse camping, and thousands of trail miles. She is presented as sound, sure-footed, and able to handle long days on the ranch or trail. The listing indicates a forward, responsive way of going rather than a slow or confidence-building type, making her better suited to a rider who can ride actively and use their leg well. She is said to neck rein and perform lateral and maneuver work including side pass, half pass, and pivot, with past roping experience and potential suitability for ranch classes.
