( read more ) Standing 15.3 hands and weighing approximately 1500 pounds, he’s the perfect combination of size, strength, and rideability. This is a true “been there, done that” horse. Brick has logged countless miles on the trails and has been used extensively on the ranch. He will run to and pull absolutely anything. He’s equally comfortable in the arena, riding both English and Western. Nothing phases him—he’s been exposed to roads, traffic, dogs, goats, ATVs, tractors, and more. Brick is also exceptionally well broke to drive, both single and double. He has a kind, gentle nature and excellent manners. There is absolutely no buck, bolt, or silliness to him. He’s well-trained, moves easily off leg, neck reins, and carries himself with natural collection. Ask him to lope with a simple kiss and he steps right into it. He’s forward-moving yet light and responsive, with smooth, comfortable gaits from a ground-covering walk to an easy jog. When it comes to work, Brick shines. He will pull anything you hook to him and truly enjoys working hard. He’s the type that will go all day with the same willing attitude and perky eared demeanor. Brick is also versatile and athletic—we’ve started him over fences, and he’s taken to it naturally. He’s bold, confident, and not easily intimidated, making him a great prospect for fox hunting or other performance disciplines. So far, we haven’t found anything that spooks him. He is sound, healthy, straight, and clean-legged. He is the perfect size with tons of mass and not too tall to easily mount. He gets along well with other horses, stands well for the farrier, and is easy to haul and tie. For more information, contact [contact info removed]. Shipping can be arranged nationwide.
