Temperament & Management
The Competitor
Athletic, forward, and mentally steady enough to stay useful under pressure. Has the engine to move up and the brain to stay there - doesn't need babysitting in warm-up or convincing at the gate. Suited to riders who want to climb levels, not just maintain them.
About this horse
Used primarily as a ranch-type mare, this 8-year-old AQHA grullo has spent her entire life on a cattle operation and is described as accustomed to everyday ranch activity. The listing states that she has long-term exposure to cattle, tractors, wheelers, and trains, with those surroundings reportedly not bothering her. Seller describes her as easy going and well mannered, while also noting that she is very quick and very strong, which suggests more horse than a true novice mount despite the beginner-safe labels included in the ad. No show record, height, or formal training details are provided.
