$30,000 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: Barrels-Poles-Gymkhana, Breakaway Roping, Bridle Horse, Calf Roping, Competitive Trail Riding, Cowhorse, Cutting, Family-Safe, Money Winner, Ranch Riding-Ranch Pleasure Grey is a 2018 AQHA gelding standing 14.2 hands and about 1100 lbs. He has been our go to horse for the past seven years so it will be sad for us to see him go but he’ll be make someone a great solid using horse. Grey is sound, safe and he’s always been the one to meet you at the gate and he always seemed to get a little upset if you didn’t pick him to ride for the day. He’s been everywhere with us, we got him in Texas and he moved to Montana and back to Texas twice now so he’s seen the brushy hill country in central Texas and been all over the Montana plains and up in the mountains. He’s been used to doctor cattle in the pasture, pulled baby calves to the barn on a sled and seen more country than half the horses in the US. We’ve taken him into the show pen and he competed in AQHA ranch versatility and he’s a money earner in the NRCHA. We haven’t competed in team roping on him but he’s been in the box and he took to it easily and gracefully. We think he would excel at heeling, calf roping, breakaway or even the cutting if you were looking for a horse that has the best foundation and the athleticism to go with it. Grey has always given his best for us and we think he deserves someone that will make him their number one. The only blemish he has is a scar above his front right knee, it doesn’t affect him and he’s never been lame. Pre purchase exams will be at your expense if you so wish to have one.
