He adores human attention. Excellent ground manners. He was shown as a four-year-old stallion in hand, winning CH and Supreme GR CH accolades. Stalls, Clips, hauled all over the country, Ties, Cross Ties, Blankets, Sheets, Boots, Wraps- you name it. Perfect gentleman for the farrier, stands patiently being shod, hot or cold shod. ( read more ) I started him under saddle the fall of his three-year-old year- Lunges, Round pens, Ground ties, Ground Drives- dragging tires, tarps etc.. He was ridden consistently until I sent him off to be shown in hand, and upon returning home the year following as a five-year-old, has not been under saddle consistently since. I had hoped that I could keep him for my own personal riding mount, but my work commitments have hindered any type of regular work. So, while I wouldn't hesitate to saddle him up and jump on him at any point, as he can literally sit for months without being worked, I would still consider him green under saddle. This is my heart horse, and Work, Health, and Personal constraints are forcing the sale my herd. This is a young athletic animal with high intelligence, sweet & personable disposition. I pulled him into the barn here in November, saddled him up, mounted and was able to ride him in my indoor area without any funny business. He needs a refresher course. He was very cautious and stopped to think about several trail obstacles but otherwise handled everything else as if I had been on him just the day before. The foundation is there, and he has a good mind. He'd be a very competitive dressage, endurance or trail partner. Currently running outside 24/7 with his maternal sister, who is also for sale. The only video footage I have of him is what I have attached to this ad. I do not have under saddle video footage of him. If you need under saddle footage to make a decision to purchase him, expect a charge for someone's time as I will have to find someone who can coordinate with my crazy schedule to record the video footage.
