Bred, raised, and developed here within our professional program, Grand Amour is easy going with an Amateur-friendly sensibility and comfortable, easy to sit gaits. He is kind by nature and would be perfect for the rider who is looking for a more laid-back partner. He is currently schooling nicely at Second Level with a green flying change and is great to hack out both alone or in company. In the barn, Grand Amour is super reliable to work around for everyday tasks, is good for the vet and farrier, and the cherry on top are his charming good looks. Sire Tjalbert 460 earned good scores under saddle and was victorious at the Friesian Indoor Dressage Championships in the Netherlands prior to being imported to the States. Among his offspring are numerous Star and Crown mares, two offspring with the Sport predicate, as well as four sons that were selected for the KFPS Stallion Show. Tjalbert offspring have won keuring championships in both the United States and Europe and are showing aptitude for dressage as well as harness. Grand Amour is out of the Star mare, With Love ISF, sired by Teade 392, Sport and out of the Star/Preferent mare, Tetske. With Love competed successfully in Dressage with scores up to 74+% at recognized shows in Florida before joining the ISF Broodmare band. She has been a very reliable producer of top riding horses with wonderful work ethics and classic Friesian type.
