$10,000 USD Disciplines: All-Around Show, Barefoot Hoofcare, Buckskin-Bred, Intermediate Rider Recommended, Sporthorse, Tri-Color **MOTIVATED SELLER** Giada's Twisted Desire is a coming 8 yo buckskin tobiano Friesian Sporthorse mare standing at 16.2hh. She is registered with the Friesian Sporthorse Association and is the daughter of BAP Jaded Hawaiian Dream (Morgan) and Top Shelf's silver elite approved stallion, Twisted Black (Friesian Sporthorse). Dezi is a very easy keeper and stays fit and healthy on a good alfalfa/grass mix, does not require shoes, stands for farrier, clips, bathes, and loads nicely. She had one episode of lameness when she was 9 months but has otherwise been 100% sound and in great health. Under saddle she walks, trots, lopes, side passes, pivots, and backs nicely. She is gentle around kids and I have given my grandchildren "pony rides" on her, but she needs a confident, intermediate rider until she has more time under saddle. I never considered breeding her so I have not done any genetic testing. I have taken her to a few horse local shows and showed her in some halter classes and just a couple of riding classes early on, but haven't done horse shows for several years now. She has a beautiful mane and her tail is super thick and long! She has also been out on a few trail and field rides. I always start my horses slowly so she has a good foundation but is not finished in any single discipline. Her sire was a phenomenal cart horse and her maternal grand-dam was a lovely carriage horse, so that is an area she may be well suited for. But you really could take her in any direction you want to and she'll give you 110%. Dezi's dam was my mare so she has been with me since birth. She is very much an in-your-pocket horse and is the first to the gate when called. She loves to get out and be ridden. Unfortunately, I have some health issues and cannot ride like I was once able to. I have only been able to ride her a handful of times this year and she's too nice a horse to sit idle. She needs someone that can give her the time and attention that she needs. A good home is a must.
