Temperament & Management
The All-Rounder
Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.
About this horse
Used primarily as a light riding or companion prospect, this 6-year-old AQHA Quarter Horse mare has basic under-saddle exposure and some early roping introduction, including working a dummy and showing a stop at the walk, trot, and lope. The listing presents her as a friendly, people-oriented mare that comes up in the field, enjoys attention, and is willing to try new things. She reportedly ties, leads, loads, stands for the farrier, and lives out with other horses. Important disclosure: she is described as unsound due to a turned-out leg from the knee down and a limp, with possible management or surgical options mentioned but not pursued. She has also been sitting and will require time, evaluation, and likely investment before any riding use.
