Temperament & Management
The All-Rounder
Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.
About this horse
Offered as a companion or non-riding lease, this 22-year-old Arabian mare is being placed with retirement in mind after reportedly becoming less willing about ridden work. She is described as enjoying turnout, would suit a run-in shed setup, and remains interested in in-hand activities such as walking courses, with possible suitability for liberty-style groundwork. Management notes include barefoot status, relatively easy keeping with pasture, and good behavior for the farrier and veterinarian. The seller also notes that she can be stubborn about loading, tending to plant her feet rather than escalate, and describes her as smart, groom-friendly, and non-aggressive.
