The Easy Day
Uncomplicated and content. Not trying to impress anyone, and that's exactly the appeal. Won't light up the arena, but won't ruin your Tuesday either. Consistent, low-key, and genuinely pleasant to be around - the horse that makes the hobby sustainable.
About this horse
$4,000 Skills: Breeding, Drill Team, Lesson, Therapy, Youth Butter likes to follow an older gelding, and I got her for my then 2 older geldings that have passed on. Coming in from upper pasture to eat-if one stopped due to age etc. she would stand by him and wait until he moved on. She is now in with a young gelding that she bosses around. Butter is sensitive to cues and easy for me=older person- to handle. She is quiet and likes human interaction as does her breed. Petted her ears -first day she moved here and she never reacted poorly then or ever. ... (read more) to same. FYI: Prefers fly spry wipes but is doing better with spray on. Would make a good youth horse -arena or lesson horse or following an older gelding. Probably would like brushing and bows in her mane. Butter is young and strong and sound-barefoot but does not mind taking it easy. She may also make a good brood mare as she seems comfortable when in season. She is white in winter and palomino in summer. Came in from KY and saw video of walk, trot, cantor -when she was 5 an dis 9 now. May need tune up as focus was on training younger gelding. Which she helped with. Butter is calm and friendly to all human interaction. And wants to be friends with other horse-especially older geldings.
