Disciplines: Hunter, Jumper, Equitation, Eventing, Dressage, Ponies Flagmounts Keen Ice Larry is a 2017, 17 hand grey registered IDHS gelding by the well known stallion Flagmounts Freedom out of Fire N Ice. Larry has competed through Training level eventing with several wins at the Novice level and second place at his first Training. He is incredibly sound, very balanced and the most comfortable gaits you can find. He is soft in the bridle and as brave as they come. This horse will jump anything you put in his path. His canter is like a metronome and I could see him excelling in the hunter jumper world or climb the levels in eventing. Larry tieters on the lazy side, but knows how to rise to the occasion when asked. He prefers a rider that is soft, but clear with their aids. Larry was purchased by my good friends for their 14 year old daughter coming off a well schooled hony. He proved to simply be too big and too much horse for this young girl and that is the reason for his sale. We feel at this point Larry would be best suited for a confident AA or a pro to take up the levels. He is a serious horse for the future and extremely talented at his job. He is a sweet boy with excellent ground manners. Good for the farrier and vet. He was thoroughly vetted at the end of 2024 with beautiful X-Rays head to toe. Unfortunately, we are unable to obtain the images as the ppe vet has since deleted them. Super easy keeper. Zero maintenance. 4 regular shoes. Lives on air (make it diet air) Currently lives in a stall and turns out daily. I unfortunately broke my neck just a couple weeks before Larry arrived so my partner took on his training for the first few months for those curious about the cowboy videos.
