Temperament & Management
The Old Soul
Measured, forgiving, and built for teaching. This horse has processed enough chaos to stop being bothered by most of it. Won't set the ring on fire, but won't let you fall on your face either. Gives back exactly what you put in - with a little grace on top.
About this horse
Trail riding is this mare’s stated use, with a long history of being ridden in mountain terrain. The listing describes a 24-year-old registered Appaloosa mare that has been with the same owner for 19 years, suggesting a stable long-term home and a known history. She is said to stand about 15+ hands and to load easily. The seller also notes a recent veterinary check and corrective shoeing for added comfort, which is relevant management information for a horse of this age. This appears to be an older trail horse offered for light practical use rather than a performance prospect.
