Hummer safely and kindly taught my husband up to the 1m Jumpers. He then was leased out in 2025 as a beginner jumper to an adult amateur lady. Since returning from his lease, Hummer has filled in as a jumper for our 13yo Junior rider who placed and won the .80m Jumper Classic during the April 2026 Pacific Ridge Show at LAEC her first time riding him. He is also used periodically for lessons at home for various levels. We see him being an asset to any program where he can continue to teach beginner riders from cross rails up to .90m. However we think he prefers to show .85m/2'6 and under these days. Though we have not shown him in the hunter ring, we feel he could be a cute beginner safe hunter/eq type as well. Moves like a sewing machine at the trot, comfortable canter with a great jump, knees to nose technique but not round. Definitely a more whoa than go ride but knows how to turn it on for the jump offs if asked! Goes in a loose ring snaffle. No spook. In your pocket lover personality. Excellent ground manners.
