Espresso is a 4yr old 14.3 hand Friesian Sport Horse gelding. He both RIDES & DRIVES! And he’s very safe both ways! Espresso has a friendly puppy dog disposition so he’s always a joy to be around. He is VERY quiet and laid back I forget he’s young sometimes that’s how calm he is. He stands EXCELLENT for hitching, getting on/off the cart, the stop signs, and stop lights. He is VERY light on the bit when driving you can drive him one handed very easily. He does NOT care about traffic a bit. As you’ll see in his videos he has had large semi trucks go by with their airbrakes going off by him and he’s seen motorcycles as well as construction vehicles. So he is very good with traffic. If you can’t drive Espresso you can’t drive a car he’s that easy to get along with. And that SAFE in the cart. Under saddle it’s the same if you can’t ride him you shouldn’t be on a horse. He’s very easy to get along with. Stands GOOD for mounting. He’s a perfect gentleman for all his ground manners. He is good for the farrier. Stands tied well. Tacks up quietly. Loads and hauls in a trailer great. He has NO bad habits or vices. Leaves home alone fine and will separate out on the trail from the other horses. He’ll go anywhere out on the trail. Over the bridges, logs, creeks, and through the rivers. Down or up steep banks, and knee high muck. He has a very level head about things and does NOT spook easily or get flustered. He has a very nice smooth canter. He has the action of the Friesian when you trot him he likes to pick his feet up high and show off. His Dad is a full Friesian and his Mom is a full Spotted Saddle Horse. Fun fact Espresso can gait however only when he wants to you would have to teach him a cue to gait. So selling him as a trotting horse only as that’s what we have him do, but he does have the potential to gait if someone wanted to work with him on it as he has broken into a rack here and there once in a while and he has a smooth rack. I could keep writing paragraphs about Espresso all day long, but to shorten things up if I had to use one word to describe him it would be GENTLE. He is such a sweetheart whether it’s on the ground, in the saddle, or under harness. You can’t help but fall in love with him. And if you can’t ride/drive him you really shouldn’t have a horse that’s how easy it is to get along with him.
