About this horse

$14,000 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: 4H, All-Around Show, English Pleasure, Equitation, Jumping, Showmanship at Halter, Trail Class Competition, Trail Riding, Western Pleasure, Youth [contact info removed] Owned by me for 5 years, utd on everything (shots, farrier, ect), getting his new coggins on March 9th, amazing horse with tons of show and trail experience, shown for the past 5 years in everything from halter and showmanship (he is a showmanship machine) to english pleasure, western pleasure, horsemanship, and equitation, great at trail class, multiple time show highpoint in juvenile/junior divisions, trail challenge grand champion, and multiple grands/reserves in equitation and showmanship from the Marquette County Fair. Got all 1sts at the State Fair last year in all 7 events. Has taken me through pageants and carried the flag to the national anthem on multiple occasions. Shown in hunter jumpers up to 2’6’’, done speed events at home and shown some in speed but needs a confident rider in that field which is not me, done some dressage, best trail horse you’d ever find, absolutely bomb proof, fine with gunshots, dogs, cars, farm machinery, ridden in the pitch dark with nothing but a flashlight, last summer our neighbors dog went missing and I saddled him up at 11 at night to go look for him on the trails, surrounded by cars, side by sides and fourwheelers in the dark with just a flashlight and didn’t bat an eye, shows you what kind of horse he is. Has given lessons to little kids and did great, he has a 6th sense with kids and I don’t see him ever trying to pull something off around them, however wouldn’t recommend for a beginner unless under instruction, intermediate-advanced rider recommended as he can test his rider at times. I believe he has a lot of show potential to go in either the 4H/pleasure events or the hunter jumper/eventing world. He is very curious, sometimes gets into trouble, very intelligent and sweet, brave, calm, great on trails, playful, energetic. Lots of energy, he NEEDS to stay active, worked with 5 times/week; doesn’t love farrier so needs someone with a lot of patience; he does chews wood occasionally; weaker hooves, he is on Dumor Hoof supplement right now and will probably need to stay on it or have maintenance done to his hooves for the rest of his life. He is good with other horses and very friendly with other horses, has been kept in a big herd and just with one other horse and did fine both times. Not super food aggressive or aggressive towards other horses. He’s been with a senior mare ever since I bought him and never picked on her. Right now he gets turnout during the day and stalled at night, however I think he’d be okay turned out 24/7. I am going to college and won’t be able to give him the time he deserves. He means the world to me and I want him to find the best home possible thats the best fit for him. Selling with a buy back guarantee, would love to see him in a home who will keep me posted ie via texting photos, videos, and updates on how he is doing. Any questions please ask :)
