Temperament & Management
The All-Rounder
Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.
About this horse
Versatility ranch prospect with early under-saddle training, this 2023 APHA sorrel gelding is being developed for working cow, roping, ranch, and gymkhana-type use. The listing states he has been with a trainer since last October, is going well under saddle, and has a solid foundation start rather than advanced finished training. He is described as willing in temperament and is reported to bathe, haul, and stand well for hoof care while remaining barefoot. Planned next steps include introduction to the barrel pattern, roping dummy, and more hauling exposure, indicating a young horse still in progression.
