Temperament & Management
The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Barrel racing is this mare’s primary job, with the seller describing her as a seasoned 3D horse at larger shows and a 2D horse when kept on the road consistently. She also runs poles, has trail experience, and has been used around cattle for sorting and roping exposure, although the description notes that she tends to treat cow work like a speed event. She is in regular arena work and said to be fit, but the listing clearly places her in an experienced-rider home: she is described as powerful, not suitable for timid riders, and currently has gate issues that the seller is managing by walking her into the arena and using CBD oil. She has also produced two foals earlier in life.
