About this horse

Disciplines: All-Around Show, Barrel Racing, Barrels-Poles-Gymkhana, Breakaway Roping, Calf Roping, Cowhorse Caly is a 2015 15.2hh AQHA mare. This mare was started with a reining foundation then went to a barrel trainer as a 5yo. She would be best suited as a ranch, versatility, or cow-horse. I’ve been patterning her around the barrels and she can lope around nicely and knows her leads, but needs more work than I have time for when it comes to adding speed. She enjoys trail riding (she’s not spooky) and this horse can work all day long. She does not get tired! She’s got a lot of buttons and a HUGE motor so advanced riders only please. She lunges on a line practically automatically and I’ve never had her buck, bolt or even kick under saddle. She is not dangerous, but has some quirks and can be a dominant mare in a pasture situation. Currently shod on fronts, and UTD on routine maintenance.
