Temperament & Management
The Old Soul
Measured, forgiving, and built for teaching. This horse has processed enough chaos to stop being bothered by most of it. Won't set the ring on fire, but won't let you fall on your face either. Gives back exactly what you put in - with a little grace on top.
About this horse
Used for ranch riding and trail work, this 13-year-old AQHA palomino gelding is described as an easy, low-energy ride with a slow, smooth lope and a relaxed way of going. He has experience in trail riding, ranch work, and being around cattle, and he is reported to go out alone on the trail on a loose rein. The listing says he neck reins and direct reins at the walk and jog, handles traffic and general commotion well, and is straightforward for routine handling including catching, loading, tying, and care with the veterinarian and farrier.
