About this horse

Skills: All Around, Athletic, Barrel, Breeding, Calf Roping, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, Cutting, Cutting Prospect, Heading, Heel, Natural Horsemanship Training, Penning, Ranch Versatility, Ranch Work, Reined Cow, Reining, Rodeo, Roping, Stallion, Steer Roping, Team Penning Bert is a weanling Doc Bar/Doc Olena bred bay colt around 6 months old. He’s doc bar bred on top, high brow cat/fisher breeding on bottom. He has a nice cow horse pedigree and will be able to get any job done no matter what’s asked of him. He should excel in roping, ranch work, reining, cutting, and barrels. Anything performance related he will be able to get it done. He is easy to catch in pasture. We ride his mom on the farm gathering cattle and trail riding, she is an extremely nice riding horse with a very good mind. His dad is a finished reining horse but was never shown due to breeding him so much. His conformation is very correct and he will have all the athleticism he needs to get any job done. He is the smallest of all the colts this year but he’s also 2 months younger than the others. He’s got a great cannon bone and should mature to around 15 hands tall. All of these colts out of this stallion have been a pleasure halter breaking and are very good minded. He will be 1 to take you to the pay window as an arena horse. He’s been handled since birth and has had a month of professional halter breaking done after weaning , UTD on vaccinations and deworming. Pennywinkle Creek Farms View Farm Directory Listing
