Temperament & Management
The All-Rounder
Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.
About this horse
Used primarily as a barrel and pole horse, this 10-year-old AQHA bay gelding has two years of High School Rodeo experience with Idaho District Nine and recorded times of 20.8 in barrels and 22.4 in poles. He is described as knowing the patterns and settling back down calmly afterward, suggesting a horse with usable competition experience rather than one that stays charged up. His background also includes trail riding, a small amount of jumping, and a rodeo queening class, pointing to broad exposure. The seller states he is best suited to an intermediate rider for competition, while also being usable for lessons or leisure riding. A disclosed clubbed right front hoof has been managed with corrective trimming and shoeing.
