The Easy Day

Uncomplicated and content. Not trying to impress anyone, and that's exactly the appeal. Won't light up the arena, but won't ruin your Tuesday either. Consistent, low-key, and genuinely pleasant to be around - the horse that makes the hobby sustainable.

About this horse

Disciplines: Broodmare, High-Percentage Color Producer, Homozygous Tobiano, Trail Riding, Western We have a senior homozygous tobiano bay paint mare we are offering for sale. Her registered APHA name is Dinky Doc Dan Dee, but her real name is "Ethel"! She has good foundation breeding & is an easy keeper. She is a sweet, kind, pretty mare. She was started by a professional trainer as a 3 year old (before we bought her) & had 90 days put on her then. We bought her as a 3 year old & have used her mainly as a broodmare and lesson horse. She throws flashy, athletic babies with lots of chrome. We have ridden her in our round pen, arena & out a few times in the hills here where we live. She is broke, but definitely not a finished horse, so we would not recommend her for a beginner unless there is a trainer involved. She has been out to pasture mostly for the past few years. She has never worked a hard day in her life, except for being a Mom! She prefers to have more whoa than go. She has tough hard feet that rarely need to be trimmed and have never needed shoes. The picture is of her ponying her daughter a number of years ago. Will sell only to the right forever home! Please call [contact info removed] for more info.
