Daichi ESH is a gorgeous gelding that is full of personality. His typey head and neck are the first thing you’ll notice, he looks like a porcelain doll. He has a lovely walk and super, uphill trot. His canter is especially nice, highly balanced, and he effortlessly offers lead changes all around the arena – see how many you can count in his foal video link below. He has a lovely people-seeking, confident personality and has been easy for everything we have asked of him. He has a tremendous presence about him and we would surely be tempted to keep him if he were a filly. He is by Diamondhead (Diamond Hit/Hohnstein). With royalty on every line of his pedigree, "Diamondhead" promised to be special and he's fulfilling all expectations and more! USDF Horse of the Year in 2008 and again in 2016, winning Championships and high score awards through Grand Prix with scores into the 80's. He has three incredible gaits with superb power and balance - a perfect product of an amazing pedigree. Sire Diamond Hit is a living legend that has contributed numerous licensed sons, Bundeschampionat and World Championship winners, as well as many upper level competition horses. Dam Heidefee has now two approved sons, while dam sire, Hohenstein brings type, expression, and high ridability. Diamondhead's charming character and willingness to work make him a favorite in the barn and he attracts plenty of attention in the competition ring. Prepotent for improving topline, uphill balance, generous bone and strong feet. His offspring are winning in dressage and hunter rings. His dam, Wolkentina, is by the highly successful dressage stallion, Wolkentanz II (Weltmeyer/Ludenorff). She is registered with the German Oldenburg Verband and also approved for breeding with American Hanoverian Society. At her mare inspection in 2021, she received an incredible 9 for her head and 8 for her neck, among other lovely scores. She has been a fabulous producer for our program and Daichi ESH is no exception. Daichi ESH is registered/branded Hanoverian and lifetime registered USEF. He has been nicely started under saddle and is confidently walk/trot/cantering in the arena, as well as hacking out calmly around the farm. With his relaxed, steady rhythm, he shows great potential as an amateur-friendly partner to bring along. He has been out to his first shows and handled everything with ease. Brave over crossrails and small verticals, green lead changes that are coming along nicely. Has been ridden by amateur students in lessons. His price will increase as his training progresses.
