Cypress

About this horse

$9,500 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: Cross-Country, Dressage, English, Eventing, Foxhunter, Hunter, Hunter Under Saddle, Intermediate Rider Recommended, Jumping, Performance Cypress is a stunning, intelligent mare with beautiful movement and the potential to go in just about any direction. Her unique Appaloosa x Percheron breeding gives her an impressive presence, and she is an incredibly nice mover with plenty of potential for the right rider. She walks, trots, canters, and jumps, currently jumping up to 2’9”, and has the potential to continue developing as a dressage, hunter/jumper, or all-around sport horse prospect. She has also done hunter paces, although she prefers the arena and thrives with a consistent job. She is great on trail but does best with a buddy! Cypress is more woah than go and takes a confident rider with a strong leg. She is not a beginner ride and would be best suited to an intermediate/experienced rider who can ride positively and consistently. She has a 4–5 temperament and will reward a rider who takes the time to build a partnership with her. She stands for the vet and farrier like a lady, and is not overly mare-ish.
