Temperament & Management
The Competitor
Athletic, forward, and mentally steady enough to stay useful under pressure. Has the engine to move up and the brain to stay there - doesn't need babysitting in warm-up or convincing at the gate. Suited to riders who want to climb levels, not just maintain them.
About this horse
Show jumping is the intended direction for this 1-year-old bay colt, who is being offered as a young prospect for an experienced development program. The listing describes him as naturally inclined to jump and suitable for a home focused on bringing along yearlings and starting young horses. He is not yet under saddle, and the seller expects his ridden training to begin next year when he turns 2. He is also described as ready to be gelded. This is a very early-stage prospect rather than a finished or beginner-appropriate horse.
