He has a strong base of in hand and ridden work. Lou has been in full time training for two years and has progressed incredibly quickly, jumping to level 2 WE after only two months under saddle! He has worked cattle and is brilliant at it. He is now competing and has recently shown level 5 WE. Lou was the talk of the show and crowd favourite with his flashy looks and Iberian charm. Lou’s strong background in classical dressage has created a proud and mobile horse that is very happy in his job and loves to work. He is very in tune and bonded with his person and will try anything and gives his all to his rider every time. He has the lovely Iberian brain with the right amount of sensitivity and plenty of intelligence. Lou is a natural in the lateral exercises. Shoulder in, travers, half pass are all second nature to him in walk, trot or canter. He has lovely collected gaits and can also extend into the bigger movements. Lou’s sits well on his haunches and is light on the forehand making him very maneuverable. He is a natural jumper and tackles all other WE obstacles with ease. This brave horse is always up for an adventure also enjoys a nice hack out on the trail. Lou does well off property and at shows. He travels well, eats and drinks well and settles in easily. He has proven that he can perform under pressure and in a new setting. This beautiful boy is sound, fit and ready to go to a new home that is looking for a great horse with a fabulous foundation and that is ready to show!
