Temperament & Management
The Forward Ride
Good motor, even head. This horse wants to go, and mostly goes about it in an uncomplicated way. Athletic without the edge, forward without the drama. The kind of horse that makes ambitious goals feel possible without making every ride an event.
About this horse
Barrel racing prospect with ranch and cow-horse crossover potential, this 4-year-old AQHA bay roan mare is described as athletic, quick-footed, and cowy, with a basic riding foundation already in place. She is walking, trotting, and loping, picks up both leads, two-tracks, moves off leg pressure, and has been worked over ground poles. The listing also notes practical handling and management positives, including loading, bathing, farrier handling, barefoot soundness, and living inside or outside. She is not presented as finished; the seller states she is still green at the lope and recommends an experienced rider to continue her development, particularly if aimed toward barrels or ranch work.
