This mare is quick-footed, cowy, super athletic and has a lot of potential. I had to retire my former barrel horse and bought Hazel 6 months ago to fill her shoes. I forgot how much time it takes to train a young horse, and I just don’t have the time she needs with two boys in sports. I need something that is more finished and started on the pattern. She is still a bit green at the lope and requires a more experienced rider to fine-tune her. This mare could go any direction. I truly believe she will make a wicked barrel horse once finished with the right rider. She’d also do well as a working ranch horse or make her into a roping horse. A rope has been thrown around her and she didn’t mind one bit.
