About this horse

Jumping-oriented sport mare with prior show mileage, this 14-year-old 15.2-hand Appaloosa/Westphalian cross is being offered as a project or performance prospect for an experienced rider. The listing states she was previously ridden and shown regularly by a young rider in jumping, then taken out of work following a suspensory injury about a year and a half ago. Seller reports she has completed rehabilitation and has spent the last year mostly in pasture with minimal work. She is described as sensitive, forward, spirited, and opinionated, making her unsuitable for beginners and better matched to a confident horseperson who wants to rebuild a program with an athletic, intelligent mare. The ad also notes she enjoys turnout and gets along well with other horses.
