$12,000 USD NEGOTIABLE Disciplines: English, Ranch Sorting, Ranch Trail Class, Ranch Versatility, Ranch Work, Team Penning, Team Roping, Western, Western Dressage, Working Cattle Reckon is a 6 year old AQHA gelding sired by Splash of Gin and out of WWR Ms Jess King. He is a 2022 graduate of Colorado State University’s Legends of Ranching. After the program, he was given time to grow up. We sent him to a professional trainer in August 2025. While at the trainer, he worked cows in a ranch setting and had a good amount of riding time put on. We recommend an experienced horseman as he is still young and green and a very sensitive gelding. The trainer reported that he thinks Reckon would make a great roping partner or general ranch using horse. He needs a job. I have also taught Reckon to ground drive and think he could be competitive in the English ring as he has a very floaty beautiful trot. He’s a great mover. Reckon is respectful, sensitive, athletic, and nice to be around. He is ready to have continued education. We are selling because we don’t have the time to put into his training and he could be turned into a great cowboy horse. Video link is from his 2022 show.
