About this horse

$11,500 USD NEGOTIABLE Almost five year old registered Palomino Morgan, DOB 12/2020. A little less than 2 weeks left in his 90 day training program and will be ready for you to take him whichever next direction that you desire. [contact info removed] The pros: I mean, just look at him, he’s gorgeous! He’s very intelligent and has a lot of energy so if you’ve got a lot to accomplish, Cricket is your guy! He has papers from some really nice Morgan bloodlines. And if you know Morgans, they’re an All American Horse breed and are basically 1 ton, in your pocket-puppies. He has had a few years of groundwork done, and again, is almost done having 90 days put on him to make sure he has a solid foundation. We also have lots of heavy machinery around here, and none of it bothers him! Some cons: He did suffer a leg injury as a yearling on his back left leg that ended up severing his front tendon. As a result, he will probably never be “show-quality" but because it happened when he was so young, he’s learned to compensate and is sound for riding. I am happy to put you in contact with the vet that treated him during this time so you can ask questions if you would like and am happy to answer any and all questions with complete honesty and transparency about it. Also, with his intelligence and energy, he needs to be busy and as a result would really do best with an experienced owner. I would not recommend him as a young kid’s horse at this stage of his life. We will want to have first rights of refusal and if he doesn’t work out, we would welcome him back with open arms. But we believe it would be better for him to go to a place where he could be worked on a more consistent basis, with a more experienced owner, and help him get to the next levels because he is READY for a job! Great home is a MUST! Please message with any questions!
