About this horse

Cadencia, AKA "Cadence" is an awesome Trakehner x TB mare with a willing personality, 3 gorgeous gaits, and tons of potential. She stands at 15.2hh and is 10 years old. She is mostly finished on the flat, but still a greenie and would pair great with a moderately experienced AA, but a talented junior in a good training program could see plenty of success with her! She's your forward, uphill type of ride, however, she is never dangerous (Zero buck, rear, spook, spin, bolt, nonsense) and trots around on the buckle after a good 15 min warm up! She LOVES the trails and can go by herself or with a group. We have mainly focused on flat work and schooling regularly from x-rails to 2'. Cadence is brave in front of any obstacle you point her at, making her an ideal candidate for playdays or XC! On the ground she is well mannered and has zero bad habits. Relaxed in new environments, bottom of the pecking order in any herd, easy to catch, easy keeper, loads and hauls perfectly, stands in the cross ties, no drama with bathing, vet, and farrier visits, and leads, lunges, and tacks up without any issue. Additionally, she has no major health/soundness concerns. She feels her best with a little bit of maintenance, which includes front shoes and annual hock injections. Clean back & foot X-rays, vet reports, and even DNA test results are available for free to ensure you are confident in your purchase. PPE's are also welcome at buyer's expense. The decision to list Cadence was not made lightly as I had originally never planned to sell her. However, after becoming a college student, keeping her is no longer affordable for me.
