Temperament & Management
The All-Rounder
Comfortable in the middle of everything, which is rarer than it sounds. Enough forward to stay honest, enough patience to wait for you. Not a specialist - a generalist. The kind of horse that makes a good program great, or a rough patch survivable.
About this horse
Ranch riding prospect with early mileage in ranch work and trail use, this 5-year-old APHA gelding has a foundation suited to a rider who wants to continue bringing one along. The listing states he has had 60 days of professional training, two months of ranch work, and additional ongoing training, along with one local show appearance where he reportedly handled a busy environment well. He is described as willing, people-oriented, easy to catch, and usable in both the arena and on trails. Seller guidance is clear that he is not for beginners and would be better matched to a confident, experienced rider. A notable management disclosure is that he requires shoes and becomes sore without them.
