Bues Chew Baby

About this horse

$1,600 USD OBO Looking for a special person for a very cool, unique-colored gray gelding. Meet Chewy! Chewy looks like a Paint at first glance, but he is AQHA and has some fun race-bred bloodlines, including Royal Quick Dash, Dashing Cleat and Lady Bugs Moon. He also ran on the track and has a 73 Speed Index. I’ve owned Chewy since approximately 2019. He is broke to ride but has been out of regular work, so he will need a tune-up with someone experienced and willing to spend a little time getting to know him. He has been ridden around the farm and in the round pen, and my daughter and I have ridden him bareback. He hasn’t bucked or reared with me, but I would recommend an experienced rider rather than advertising him as a beginner horse simply because he has been sitting. Chewy is a sweet guy and deserves his last home with someone that will give him attention. He stands tied and does well for the farrier. He loads into the trailer, although he does not back out of the trailer and prefers to turn around. To my knowledge he is sound and has no known major injuries or maintenance issues. His feet are currently due for a trim, and he needs groceries. Current photos are included first, with older riding/conformation photos also included. I’m selling because my living situation has changed and I am no longer in a position to keep horses on my property.
