About this horse

$7,500 USD 2013 AQHA gelding, Bueno Topgun (aka Toy). He’s around 14.1 hands. Toy has been a very versatile horse used for a variety of disciplines. He’s smart and always very willing to try whatever you ask of him. Last year he was a younger girls rodeo horse—barrels, poles, breakaway, and goat tying. What Toy can do: • Ride bridleless • Move off your leg like your legs are made of cooked spaghetti • Trail ride like a champ (would literally walk over a pile of snakes if you asked nicely) • Travel well and act like a seasoned road warrior • Pretend he’s an English horse if you tack him up fancy What Toy sometimes does: Become herd bound when you’ve separated him from his soulmate (my one mare). In a bigger group, he’s fine. Alone? Depending on the day, he might be fine or might write a sad country song about it. I did own him for a few months as a single horse and was totally fine living that way. He can be annoying on the ground sometimes, not unsafe, but he just thinks everyone has treats in their pockets. • Not spooky — at all. • Honest, broke, and tries his best. Naturally collected and moves beautifully. • Athletic enough to do things. Chill enough to survive things. He’s got a gas tank that (for me at least) I’ve never ran empty. I don’t want to sell him — he’s too cool — but I just had knee surgery and can’t ride for months, I’m a busy mom, and he’s far too useful and fun to just sit around judging me. I truly believe this horse hasn’t reached his full potential yet and he just needs to find the right partner. Best suited for a confident rider, or at the very least a home with experience. I think he’d be a great trail partner, or he would be really fun in the ranch versatility world. He has also done some sorting.
