Temperament & Management
The Competitor
Athletic, forward, and mentally steady enough to stay useful under pressure. Has the engine to move up and the brain to stay there - doesn't need babysitting in warm-up or convincing at the gate. Suited to riders who want to climb levels, not just maintain them.
About this horse
Barrel racing and pole bending gelding with established arena credentials, this 10-year-old dun is described as a proven 3D barrel horse and a 22/23-second pole horse. He has also been ridden extensively on trails through multiple National Forests, giving him a broader use profile beyond competition. The listing presents him as suitable for an intermediate rider or above rather than a beginner, which fits a seasoned performance horse with enough training and responsiveness to require some ability. Seller-reported management points include easy-keeper status, solid feet, good ground manners, confidence in new environments, and no stated vices. He is grade, though the pedigree of his parents is said to be available.
