(read more ) Blue Moon, or Blue as we often call him, is a 6-year-old blue roan draft gelding that stands 16.1 hands. You will search many years before you come across a horse who is as versatile as Blue is. He rides english, western, bareback, bridleless, liberty, and drives. Many say that their horse is a "once in a lifetime" horse, but Blue is the real deal. He is a standout, exemplary individual. Blue is broke enough for any level rider, as well as riders of any age. He has training that advanced riders will love, yet he is honest enough to take care of beginner riders. Blue is the literal go to horse in my barn for every person in my family. Everyone enjoys riding him and loves his disposition. Blue has been ridden by all ages of riders and has performed remarkably well with each individual. We are not afraid to turn the kids loose with him! My 4-year-old nephew can confidently lead Blue around with his little sister in the saddle and can ride Blue by himself without problem. My older nieces (8-12 years old) have loved taking him out on the trails and have gained so much experience in the saddle with him. I have owned Blue for one year and have genuinely enjoyed the time I have spent training him. Blue is as gentle as he is versatile. He will excel in any direction he is taken. Blue is the definition of majestic with his eye-catching roan color, big round hip, kind eye, and overall balanced conformation. As if all of that is not enough, he has a mane and tail that Rapunzel would be jealous of. There are an endless number of things to say about his training, his good nature, and how much I think of him. Blue is great for the veterinarian and farrier. He wears a #5 shoe on the fronts and a #4 shoe on the rears and has good feet. Blue has a pre-purchase exam on file.
